Centre 33 is a charity supporting young people up to the age of 25 in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough with their practical issues and emotional needs. They run a Young Carers Service, which offers support and respite to young carers (up to the age of 18) who take on practical and/or emotional caring responsibilities. These young carers could be caring for a parent, grandparent, or sibling who has a life limiting condition, disability, a mental health condition, or who may abuse substances.
We have agreed to pay for support for those young carers living in Fulbourn parish, currently six in number.
We will also pay to provide the “Someone to Talk To ” service (STTT) to some 15 young Fulbourn people
