Fulbourn Football Clubs applied to us for new Rotary Mower, due to the outdated nature of their current machines, (over 50 years old) . This was for maintenance of the 6 football pitches and surrounding area at the Fulbourn recreation ground, benefitting all levels of the club – the Men’s Senior Team, The Colts and the Ladies Bluebirds.
The Parish Council can use this mower for areas that are difficult with its present equipment, and be a backup should the Council’s mower be out of service. The recreation ground is a well-used community facility in the village. We agreed to fund this new machine

For the U13 Colts team, we provided a new strip for the 23/24 season, training tops, balls, drinks bottles, a refreshment stand during games, and a substitutes bench etc. Our funding also allows the team manager to support those players whose families are not in a position to buy expensive boots and shin pads, by offering help to those who need it.
