Wright’s CIO, as per the 2nd of its Charitable Objects, have paid for routine maintenance of St Vigors, and a successfully completed project to remove kerbstones from the churchyard. They have also, as per the 3rd Charitable Object, agreed to fund a part time Director of Church & Community Music, who will set up a community choir; plus 4 part time singers for the Church choir, a choir administrator and an organist. Additional recurring finance has been agreed to support both Church and Community choirs ( hall hire, music sheets, PLI, church heating).

We have financed a replacement of St Vigor’s heating system and significant tree work in the churchyard. Again these are as per the 2nd of our Charitable Objects, as is the agreed funding for installation of solar panels on the N and S transept roofs.

Wright’s have funded works on the N transept – complete lead roof replacement and stonework repair on the parapets. The need for this work became apparent when the pads to support the solar panels came to be fixed.

We have agreed to fund a part-time manager for ” Twelve”, the PCC’s drop in centre/shop on the High Street and to pay ( for 1 year) for lodgings in Town for the Benefice Pastoral assistant.
